I am a sculptor and mud is my medium - I work in clay. My sculpture is described as traditional bronze sculpture with an emphasis on spiritual themes. It is often figurative and realistic. The tools I use include symbolism, a meaningful concept, and a fluid composition.

One of my earliest influences was seeing Michelangelo's "Pieta" on loan from the Vatican to the 1964 World's Fair in New York City. This experience has endured as a pivotal influence in my art life. From seeing that great masterpiece, I knew I would always strive to improve my skills to be able to communicate the concepts that are most important to me.
